I’d be very surprised if that does indeed happen - flu jabs have been dispensed in the multiple-millions in the past and I’m not aware of any reports of disposal issues?

Re: Any Retired Builders/Structural Engineers?
Typically most “tilers” here don’t use spacers so the gaps around the tiles are often a combination of not uniform and being too close to each other. If you have to lift the tiles you may find it very difficult to relay them again - I’ve had similar issues and found that the lifted tiles have a pron...

Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
They and other countries have to get a move on though to get the world vaccinated. They're never going to do it if that procedure keeps up when mass inoculations start. Hopefully when they see the vaccine is safe and nothing different than giving a normal injection they'll streamline things. Where ...

Re: Buying a new laptop
I was thinking more on the lines of something like “ I’ve had the laptop a week now and am amazed at how quick everything works and wish I’d upgraded sooner” or hopefully not, “ I’ve had the laptop a week now and haven’t noticed any real improvements from the old one - I could have saved myself 20,0...

Re: Buying a new laptop
Just a bit of information I wish I'd known yesterday, and thought I'd share it, although I guess many of you already know. Just in case there are people in the dark out there as I was. After deciding what machine I would buy, actually buying one proved to be very difficult (I now know shops only ha...

Re: The Cheese Thread
I've found AP or Nany's still way cheaper than Makro for cheeses. When was the last time you tried them? In the last couple of months I've found the cheapest stuff on a par with Makro. I called into AP between 1-2 weeks ago and I thought their cheese prices had come down from the relatively high pr...

Re: Thailand tourist slump continues
Of course, as more and more holiday destinations open their doors, then unless Thailand does the same, it will be completely overlooked and getting them back in the future will be an uphill battle (against a force 10 Gale)!!

Re: Buying a new laptop
I have been wondering about that. Everything SSD on Lazada did seem quite small. Oh well, maybe I'll have to stick to a regular hard drive  I would definitely recommend going over to a SSD drive - you’ll be amazed how quick everything works and 512 GB is still quite a decent size memory, but I...

Re: Buying a new laptop
Laptops with a 1TB SSD drive tend to be quite expensive and you’ll probably struggle to get one within your budget - unless you need such a large memory, a 512 GB might be possible

Re: This day in Aviation
The first flight I took was from London Gatwick to Palma Majorca in about 1970 or 71 on a Boeing 707 - back then it was a pretty good/big aircraft - I think my next flight was on a BAC 1-11, which was more like a coach with wings on!!

Looks a bit like a Boeing 707?
