Re: Expat Poll: Top Country Choices For Leaving Thailand

Re: Looking for an alternative to True

Any advice would be appreciated. Signed up to True's Gold package. Premier league commentary is, mostly, in Thai. I have been into 'settings' and changed the language ... but! Told I cannot upgrade for six months - willing to spend more money but can't! My bottom line is that I will walk away as thi...

Re: Strong shirt saves lucky girl from fatal rooftop plunge

Several years ago I visited an acquaintance who was in Phetcharat Hospital, Phetchaburi for depression.
He was in a room, by himself, on the top floor with a sliding door to the balcony.

Amazing Thailand!

You can buy alcohol on a Sunday in the UK, but from recollection, not before midday? Pubs open the same time on a Sunday as far as I am aware but can then...

Re: Some Bangkok Embassies to stop Certification of Income Letters

There's nothing wrong with it, but they don't need retirement extensions or income letters. ----- most of them have no money worries either! As for 'committing to Thailand' one is only certain of being able to stay for a year at a time. I knew of one ex-pat (American) who had a lifetime visa which ...
