That's the most rainfall I have seen in an hour! I guess you guys down the hill in Hua hin will be getting your feet wet again!

Also, has anyone tried the artificial ceramic wood planks? I have these on top of my wall and was wondering if they would be longer lasting than wood for decking. My wood is also 7 years old and although the metal supports were replaced last year it will need doing soon.

I'm not an expert on these, but in the UK they were plumbed into the water supply to constantly make ice. As the water here from the mains in most cases isn't drinkable, your ice would not be that good for you. Just something to check before you buy ;-)

You go down Soi 77, take the path to the left of the small river. Lovely location, great food and Oats famous Pizzas! IMHO he does the best in Hua hin! I'm sure this place will be a big success, I don't think I'll be bothering to go all the way to Takieb anymore for a nice piece of quiet beach and g...

Same here, was told it went on until 4pm! All cleared away by 2 pm! Still, we had a nice afternoon on the beach :-)

Thanks to forum members the ' situation' had the best possible outcome and the person concerned was stabilised enough to fly back to the UK to continue treatment an is now quite well. The forum and contacts are so important in a situation like this when the outcome could have been very different. I ...
