Re: New deposit rules for banks

I’ve lived here for 12 years without a TIN, I hope I can manage another 12 but that might be a bit optimistic? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Me too just about but I believe expats use it to reclaim with holding tax and tax on interest on some investments. Also at least one financial investment...

Re: New deposit rules for banks

Tax ID Number, TIN, not TIM, have been available to Expats for years. Issued from the tax office on Soi 88 opposite Nanys. Ask for a form which is in Thai so take it away to have a Thai translate. Google the requirements but I think it's just the usual passport and visa copies plus proof of address ...
There is also a drama in the pipeline with Steve Coogan as JS but not sure if it has been released yet.
Airs on Monday, and no it's not a comedy because Steve Coogan's in it. Looking forward to this one.
Coogan does more than comedy, the excellent moving/sad film Philomena...

I just watched this 2 part documentary abut the pedophile Jimmy Saville. What a piece of shit person. Hope he rot in hell. Sadly though they didn't catch him before he passed away [emoji35][emoji35][emoji35] https://www.netflix.com/us/title/81520549?s=a&trkid=13747225&trg=cp&vlang=en&am...

Anyone know of a place open on Saturday or Sunday to treat what is probably an ear infection in a young boy?

Re: Fish & Chips

Just had Fish & Chips at Gary @ Sabsi Sabai, Soi 102. The best F & C I have had in Hua Hin. Barracuda steaks in a crispy batter and real homemade chips. Passed on the mushy peas (never been my favourite) but the side salad was excellent. At 320 Baht great value for money. Will be going back...

Re: Best long-term "unlimited" internet SIM deals

:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: Has anybody tried buying one of these SIMs off the AIS web page? I tried, and couldn't get past page 3. My daughter-in-law who is normally switched on with online purchasing got a little further, but ended up calling the help desk, who weren't very helpful. Their su...

Re: The Beer Thread 2

This isn't going to help, but I just can't remember but it was a 2 storey restaurant and had a huge cold fridge with loads of english and continental beers in it. Could sit inside or outside. I can see the bloody place but can't remember the name. I am hoping for a eureka moment when it comes back ...

Re: Ratchaburi - Trip/Photo Report

My quote function has stopped working !

I mean comparing apples with apples. A hand rolled dough pizza cooked in a wood fire oven like pizza garden is 350=450 baht, a pre prepared base pizza is 100-200 in HH whixh is clearly what BB had for that price.

Re: Ratchaburi - Trip/Photo Report

Quote Big Boy ''The food was actually quite good. We both left empty plates. Crazy thing was, in Hua Hin we’d have probably been looking at 1500฿+. When the bill came, it was a measly 486฿ ''

Other than 5* restaurants where have you eaten in HH that charges 1500+ for a pizza and Thai food for one?
