Re: Football (not Premier League)
Yes, but still 5 games to go. Fortunately they seem to have the easiest run-in, if anything is easy in a relegation battle, of course.

Re: Thai Football 2023/24
Which players was deemed as being offside? I have been looking at that myself and wondering. The photo has been published claiming foul, and I do remember the ball going to the wing before going back into the middle to score. I will double check with the highlights, but I definitely know where you ...

Re: Thai Football 2023/24
After last Saturday's refereeing incident Sukhothai vs Ratchaburi, which has resulted in the referee being charged with cheating (VAR was useless again), it's happened again. Last night's Ratchaburi vs Bangkok Utd VAR clearly shows the Bangkok Utd player as being offside, but the goal was given. VAR...

Re: Football (not Premier League)
I just feel modern keepers should give it a go - practice a bit on the training ground, and if they're coming close, give it a go. Kicking from ball in hand is a lot easier than dead or rolling ball. I think there are a few keepers in the Thai League alone that could achieve it. If they can do it, I...

Re: Football (not Premier League)
I seem to remember the likes of Pat Jennings doing it back in the day, and a decent modern keeper usually has a mighty kick.
[Edit] I've just checked - he did it against Man Utd

Re: Football (not Premier League)
I think my question is across all football, which is why I'm asking here, but my example(s) is taken from Thai football, which I watch a lot, live. Week after week, I see scenes like this, and often worse. The Khon Kaen keeper is no stranger to the centre circle. Goal.jpg What you can't see is at th...

Re: Thai police require stricter foreigner screening and monthly case reports
The car on the beach was a Thai. Reported that way wherever I read it. You are right. I didn't read it, but it was in the Foreigners behaving badly section. Badly.png I just get fed up with this stupid witch hunt. Yes, they are not nice, but it is petty crime that you'd most probably find any...

Yes, the beasts are connected via cigar lighter sockets.
Test complete - the wires seem to be more robust (stronger than the originals). However, the test has proved that I didn't need 2 new leads - I needed 1 lead and 1 camera.
Will sort a new camera in the morning.

Re: Thai police require stricter foreigner screening and monthly case reports
Yes, but a foreigner driving a car on a beach, and another in trouble for touching a whale shark amongst other gems yesterday. Is all of this petty reporting not going to keep holidaymakers away just in case they might need to fart in public? Yes, I'm saying that in jest, but I'm sure a possible fut...

Re: Thai police require stricter foreigner screening and monthly case reports
Yes, but you have to look at some of the petty stuff being reported on national news. OK, not nice for the taxi driver, but an Austrian fighting with a taxi driver because he wasn't allowed to smoke. Yes, a crime, but national news when you see some of the Thai on Thai stuff? It is most certainly a ...
