Re: Two women found shot to death in Hua Hin shop house
If a shooting incident can ever not be 'violent' it must be the second one. Not exactly a teenage street duel. I don't think you need to be scared to walk the sois.

Re: Mustard
I’ve bought that here before - not certain but I think from Makro. Didn’t do a side by side test with Coleman’s but from memory it was fairly strong!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yes it's strong. The tin is very small. Mine is too old now to try a side-by-side test with fresh Colman's powder.

Re: Mustard
I looked on Lazada and found it amongst a range of mustards. https://s.lazada.co.th/s.my6Il Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I do too today. WTF... I only Googled it before, and Lazada wasn't in the results other than for in a jar. I guess I'm learning that my shopping skills aren't a patch on th...

England vs Ireland – Bob hope and no hope for the Lillywhites I’m not sorry to say  :duck: Thanks for opening your mouth, your halitosis must have been what killed the monkey on our back! :) Two amazing matches last night, one terrific and one stupendous. I'll leave the post-match analysis to...

Re: The Recommended Movies Thread
I watched Poor Things and enjoyed it very much. A bizarre moral and philosophical road trip, and often hugely darkly funny. Cinematography is stunning, with Yanthimos's often lurid but beautiful colour grading of external sets breathtaking. Emma Stone plays terrifically, and her body is very much on...

Brilliant, thank you! I never think to search VM, Lotus, etc. online. You've saved me some petrol.Nereus wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 6:59 pm https://shop.villamarket.com/product/7559
If you open the search window with mustard there is a whole list on a drop down menu.

Tinned English mustard powder - searching...
not colmans mustard.jpeg I love all mustards but need Colman's English Mustard with some foods (a hot pasty in the hand and a pint is a good example). Shopee offer the pictured, which I might even get desperate enough to try! Has anyone seen tins of powdered Colman's in shops in Hua Hin? I don't ev...

Re: The Recommended Movies Thread
Just watched the Netflix film Damsel . A fairy tale 'in days of old' where the prince definitely doesn't rescue the princess! A little dark and scary in parts for the very very young maybe but otherwise completely family friendly. Watching Poor Things this evening and expecting great things (it's a ...

Re: The Boxing Thread
NOTE: I'll get around to moving other Boxing Threads here soon to tidy things up a bit :thumb: Anywho... I don't watch anywhere near the amount of boxing I used to watch, partly due to the difficulty in getting a (free) stream - not paying an additional £25 for the pleasure! Partly due to the silly...

Re: TV series worth watching/downloading
Following in the vein of mentioning series I haven't watched, for anyone who has been waiting for Netflix's sci-fi Three Body Problem it starts later this month. There was a Chinese TV series last year (just named Three Body I think), don't get confused. I read that was good also, and 30 episodes! N...

Re: TV series worth watching/downloading
Some series I am watching and have queued up to try out ... Slow Horses - British spy thriller with Gary Oldman. Great stuff this, into season 2 already. Halo - Loved the video game, loving the series. Hardcore sci-fi fans only. The Walking Dead - The Ones Who Live - Yet another spin-off of the WD ...

Re: The Recommended Movies Thread
For anyone who loves Haruki Murakami's stories and novels the 2021 Japanese film Drive My Car is beautiful and moving. It's three hours' long with a lot of Chekov in it, so it's not for everyone. A superb adaptation of Murakami's short story. "A widowed actor bonds with his chauffeur in Ryûsuke...

Car interior header repair/replacement
Because of the extreme weather conditions in Thailand the foam-backed header (headliner) inside my car roof is sagging, maybe can be reglued or maybe needs replacement if the foam insulation is rotten. also small panels in the car doors the same. Has anyone had this done and knows a company who can ...

Re: Microwaving burgers at home
Why not just fry them in a pan. I wouldnt recommend microwaving them. Heat pan to high, oil the burgers first, place in the pan and you will get a good sear. Turn over searing the other side and then Turn down the heat and cook through. I'm thinking about losing some fat from the burgers and not ad...
