Not consistently slow though - sometimes fast, oftentimes 20 seconds to load a page.

Re: Anything special on in Hua Hin this weekend?

A flying visit indeed; I just tracked the return flight to DMK, there were two C130's, the first just about to enter Bangkok and the second 10 mins behind.

Re: Anything special on in Hua Hin this weekend?

Anything special on in Hua Hin this weekend?

Earlier on in the day I saw at least one C130 heading towards the airport, followed by the Royal Thai Airforce 737 (about 45 minutes later). I actually saw two C130's (but it could have been the same one just on a go-around) as they were only ten minutes apart. So, is there something happening in Hu...

Re: Minivan, bus and road accidents

OK, so it's not a minivan, bus or on the road but a boat crash at the real Floating Market, needless to say both 'drivers' fled the scene. http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/general/708072/hungarian-tourist-killed-22-hurt-in-boat-crash Bangkok Post - A 61-year-old Hungarian woman was killed and 22 othe...

Re: Weather in Hua Hin & Thailand

Yes, it looks like we've been 'spared', there was a couple of welcome heavyish showers overnight but the cloud looks very thin today, the sun has broken through a number of times this morning and there's almost no wind to speak of. I doubt it's the quiet before the storm.
