Re: IHERB delivery

Maybe I am one of the last to learn this but iHerb has discontinued free shipping for orders over US$40 and has slimmed down discounts for quantity. They do still beat Thailand prices but by a smaller margin so convenience of buying locally versus long wait and Thai post and Customs drill weighs mor...

Re: Interior light bulb for Siemens refrigerator

Many sewing machines and other appliances probably use the same bulb, Also knowing the base type and voltage leaves you open to bu...

Re: Itinerary for a road trip to Laos

Have never done it as a road trip, always by train, plane, bus, river boat. But in Nong Khai I enjoyed seeing Sala Keo ku, or Sala Keo Kou, a park featuring giant fantastic concrete sculptures inspired by Buddhism and Hinduism. Some of them as tall as a 3 or 4 story building.  Built by and reflectin...

Re: Trusted Real Estate agent recommendation

Re: Mower for tall grass and small brush

It is possibly Chinese but do not know. The name on it is: ‘MC’ and all of them we have seen have that same name. The engine is 5.5hp. We bought it in a shop in Khon Kean that sells Kwai Leks - iron buffalo walk behind tractors. It is heavy duty and weighs 77 kilos so compared it to an over shoulder...

Considering that I have no idea where Kim's kitchen is - and I doubt I am the only one - it's irrelevant to me whether it has re-opened or not! As this is a reply to the original post, which is what this thread is about, this answer succonctly illistrates what PeteC and Bone tried to point out in t...

Re: Official Statement from BKK Bank in NY for US Fund Transfers

If you have a Schwab brokerage acct, use their toll free telephone number from Thailandt to transfer money from your brokerafe acct to your Thai bank acct with zero fees except for your Thai bank's small incomming fee. Which you would pay anyway if using Bkk Bank New York.
