Re: New Indian Soi 80 / Railway Road
Stumbled across a 'new' Indian Restaurant this week. It's called the Royal Restaurant and is on the left hand side of the road to the beach near the Sofitel - before you get to Billy's Bar. Food was very good and the menu is large and varied. Well worth a trip in my opinion. The owner said they had ...

Re: Private detective in Hua Hin?
why is it that the people that the least to contribute, or give an intelligent/helpful advice seem to always have the urge to post some some stupid comment? Apparently you haven't been here very long. Some of us do use morbid humor or sarkasm when responding to more or less stupid questions. A priv...

Re: Golf Clubs For Sale
Well JW, I would sincerely like to thank you for your interference. You have killed any chance I had of selling the clubs and taught me that the Hua Hin Forum should never be used for classifieds. I will not be using it again but please enjoy yourself annoying other potential sellers and buyers! Ju...

There are lots of places to watch Rugby in town and Truevisions now have a channel dedicated to Rugby so you can record games that are played at times when you can't watch and replay them later. If live Rugby interests you there is a Thai Rugby Federation and the top sides play in a league competiti...

Re: Stoned Head Band
Went to the Moonlight Bar last night with a few friends. Great bar and Stoned Head were as good as always. There was also a very good two piece band that played until about 10pm.
Definitely a place we will go back to regularly.

Stone Head Band
Went to Murphy's on Tuesday night to watch the band only to be told that Stoned Head no longer played there. No further information was made available. The band that played were OK but not in the same league as Stoned Head. Does anyone know where they are playing now ? I'm sure that El Murphy's will...

Re: Big hotel sunday lunch
We went to the Hyatt a few months ago. Not very impressed by the choice of food for the price. Also VERY unimpressed by seeing a monkey opening the covered dishes and helping itself to the food. As expected, the staff found it very amusing !! And yes, they did change the dishes and chase away the mo...

Re: Colonoscopy - Choice of Venue....
I have a colonoscopy every three years and am due to have one this year. Just wanted to know if anyone had recently experienced the procedure in any of the local hospitals here in Hua Hin and what your impressions are about the procedure plus how much does it cost. Shame you have to put up with the...

They turn up at the Hyatt Hotel for the Sunday brunch. For some strange reason, the staff find it amusing to see the monkeys taking food form the various buffet items !

jw it's still a scam. you most get free rounds for even bringing up the silly fact of a free beer. Do you offer a free shower after talking to a Realtor This comment is absolutely absurd. I'm sure JW will lose no sleep over it. However, let me add that 'free beer' is definitely NOT a silly fact for...

Re: UK Passport Renewal
As promised, my final update on my new UK passport. I went to immigration today to renew my Non Immigrant Visa which had to go in my new passport. I was first in line when they opened. There is a form that Immigration have to fill in when you change passports. This process alone took 35 minutes. I h...
