I'm back in town early Oct with a friend that wants to use a gym. As I do not usually stay at the big hotels (or have any interest in lifting anything heavier than a bar girl and/or a pint). Can anyone suggest anything?

Its run by a crazy Thai girl who says she's from Texas! But as the Baron says its cheap and as long as you take a Thai friend along with you to help cook, it can be tasty. Big jugs of Singa and 1/2l glasses help things along!

I've never had any problems with 'lack of choice' of girls in HH, mostly its the opposite problem! Just stayed at Hua Hin House guest house right in the centre B800 realy clean, nice and friendly, no problem with 'Guests'.

What sort of prices?

It seems to be where a lot of young Thais hang out particularly at the W/E. It's a huge place made of lots of little islands connected by bridges.
