Re: How to promote a group?

Here is a post Hash run report AKA 'hash trash' from the 2 July run. BINGE-ING IN THE RAIN Saturday 2nd July saw Hua Hin's citizenry preparing for a General Election on the morrow and trying to ignore the antics of Hua Hin Hash House Harriers as they perpetrated their 204th Hash. The venue for this ...

Re: How to promote a group?

What is the 'advertorial'? Is the forum post the advertorial? Along the same lines of the hash groups we also have a hiking and a hash biking group. Is the 'advertorial' the way to go to promote this. In the good old days when the great OBSERVER was in print and available almot everywhere we got som...

Re: Anybody coming from the US anytime soon?

Hashing does not require that you wear shoes. A Florida boy grows up barefoot. Forget the shoes. Also, I might suggest that you take a look at the several places that sell shoes that have already run somewhere. Dead Man's shoe's can be bought for 100-190 baht just a bit north of Chom Phol Road which...

Nong Yao Crime

I have been living in Nong Yao for 6 years and have not heard of any problems. I do know that some of the folks wanting to sell are doing so because of economics alone. However, I certainly do expect to see some home burglaries as unemployed guys with no income look for ways to pay their bills, buy ...

Kaeng Krachan

Four of us visited last month and camped in the campground about 30km from entrance. We got by with a 2 wheel drive pickup but four wheel drive is really better and absolutley necessary in rain. Campground is clean and well kept. There's showers but only cold water. No lights in the bathrooms. Bomb ...

Oriental Carpets

Where in Hua Hin can I find Oriental Carpets?
Machine made, functional carpets and not hand made treasures from Iran.
Made in China or Turkey is fine.
