Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News

This is really crazy. Bangkok is a blue zone with nearly no restrictions and the neighbouring "Greater Bangkok", like Nonthaburi, is red zone.

Re: Flying into Thailand, latest updates

I would rather rely on TATnews for saying the hotel must be less than 2 hours from the airport than any other forum.

Re: Flying into Thailand, latest updates

It would be easier to apply for a Non O visa in Thailand, if you have the money in the bank.

Here is more about the plants. I wonder who will buy a small ugly plant for millions, if you can get more beautiful plants for 100 Baht in many shops

Re: Kasikorn Bank closures?

12 x 65,000 is 780,000, not 800,000. On my last visit to immigration, I showed my monthly income sheet from the Swiss embassy and the lady calculated 12 x the monthly amount on her pocket calculator. Fortunately that was more than 800,000. What would she have done if it had been 780,000 baht. They d...

Re: 'How To' - Requirements for visa extensions etc

I had only copies of the Details page, the last entry stamp, the arrival/departure card and the current extension and that was enough. But they wanted to see the blue housebook, where I live, which I needed never before.

Re: Hua Hin Airport Begins Flights to Chiang Mai & Udon Thani

I'm interested, but can't be booked yet. And Airasia does not provide any information on the requirements for the target provinces. They only mention a link with information in Thai, but I think it is almost impossible even for a Thai to extract the necessary information.

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News

In the tatnews it says Mr. Thanakorn also confirmed the success of the Phuket Sandbox programme over the last two months, which generated 1,634 million Baht in tourism revenue from the average cost of the visitors’ vacation at 61,894 Baht. But they never write that the loss on domestic travellers be...

Re: Coronavirus Precautions/News/Updates for Hua Hin/Prachuap

Would be time to change to a red zone. But then we must have vaccination and test to come back from Bangkok (dark red zone).

I read in der-farang.com that the curfew in Bangkok was changed to 22h - 4h. Is this valid also for Hua Hin?

In the general rules there is no requirement of being vaccinated to enter a restaurant. What is true now?
