Re: Chevrolet Hua Hin

I'd obviously do the same, but wouldn't stress myself so much this time by letting it drag on too long.

Phraya Nakhon Cave

Having conquered the 396 steps to the top of Chong Krajok Mountain I thought I was pretty good. I was even blasé about it, and didn’t bother to collect my certificate of achievement from the Tourism Department, Prachuap Kiri Khan Municipality. Well that wasn’t even a mild warm up for this baby. I’ll...

Re: Doomsday List

Yes, it brought up many good points, but not enough to produce the desired guide to help people when they need it. Its not what would be there, its vital information that might be missed. I wouldn't want to be the person responsible for somebody using the document and missing something because it wa...

Re: Middle Eastern Food

I'm assuming it is referring to the nightime food market that is near the 2 7-11s.

Re: Doomsday List

Well guys, I've been puzzling over this for a couple of days now. Unfortunately it looks as though the naysayers were right. There isn't enough information here to put together a useful guide - even providing the most basic of information, let alone the complexities of various nationalities etc. Unf...

I understand - he's been here too long and is turning native :D

If Mrs BB asks for something before knowing the price, much to my annoyment, she won't lose face by changing her mind.

Re: 'Closure' of Bangkok on Jan 13

B.B. IF you decide to pack the 'outlaws' off on the HH-Korat bus they should be OK as this bus goes via Nakorn Pratom, & takes a Northerly route before linking up to the Saraburi road. :thumb: The outlaws are moving on tomorrow on the Mukdahan bus. They didn't seem to think there'd be a problem...

Re: Ongoing protests against controversial amnesty bill

We've got the Isaan outlaws visiting at the moment :cuss: They've been putting off their return home. They've now heard Bangkok is closed, so they suddenly need to go home (want me to drive them because they don't think buses are running). Does anybody know the situation with buses? I was thinking t...

pe7e, Ramipril isn't so readily available in Hua Hin, but they will order it in (within 24 hours). Compared with other meds, it is quite expensive as well. You might be better seeking an alternative before you come.

You're probably looking at the Monday to Friday situation. It gets worse at weekends.
