Re: How can Thailand curb its appalling road fatality rate?

Re: How can Thailand curb its appalling road fatality rate?
From Buksi: but "right of way" isn't really a concept that exists in the land of "me first". Neither is the phrase found anywhere in the UK Highway Code: The rules in The Highway Code do not give you the right of way in any circumstance, but they advise you when you should give ...

Re: Football (not Premier League)
Leicester are of course the King Power people and wealthy Thai family left over from their glory days. They'll go up, but if they come back down rapidly I would think we'll see a change in ownership. The only player I know is Vardy, and he's getting old! He most definitely is getting old bu...

Re: Premier League 2023-24
Strangely, Chelsea had the greater possession but clearly didn’t do anything threatening having just 7 shots with 1 on target, whereas Arsenal had a massive 27 shots with 10 on target.

Re: Weather in Hua Hin & Thailand
A check of current satellite images shows storms coming over from the west right on top of Cha-Am and Hua Hin. Yellow and reds so there must be some storm activity involved? Let us know if you get a much needed cooling shower? It’s a bit cloudy which has dropped the temperature a bit, but doesn’t l...

Re: Solar power setup for your home in Thailand
Has anyone done a recent review of the payback for having solar power installed - I’m sure that if these sort of temperatures become the norm then more people will want to consider solar? Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread
This is where I believe Thailand will be heading very soon: History has been made over the period April 1-14, sales of new energy vehicles (NEV) exceeded half of all car sales in China. New energy vehicles is a Chinese umbrella term encompassing a number of types but in reality means largely pure e...

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread
I’m not sure the established car companies are very actively trying to stop Electric cars - they all have a range of cars already available and many more in the pipeline. Their obvious and understandable gripe is that governments like in the UK are imposing significant targets to be achieved in sale...
