Yes, I setup a 2m baht company (49%me/51%) so that maybe in a year or so I can get a work permit, cannot see myself just doing nothing for the next 20 years (51 now) and I realise that you really only need 25% of the 2M deposited. Buying some land at the moment which takes me nearly up to the 2M so ...

Hi Jim I need the company bank account to register the capital is that true? Are you saying that once the company bank account is setup to buy a property, then once I've paid for it via the company I presume to register the capital, then any company payments (accounting etc) can be made via my perso...

Yes, I have just setup a company (2m Baht) but have gone back to the UK before I opened the bank account. I have given my girlfriend signing power at the moment and she will open the company bank account. I need to pay a small deposit on some land, before I return to HH When I get back to Hua Hin Ap...

Business Bank Account - No Work Permit

Is it possible to obtain a business bank account without having a work permit in Hua Hin?

I've got a personal account with SCB and if possible will stay with them.

Thanks

Yes I had a crown done at dental 2000 about a month ago. 5K did a good job 2 visits, complete in a week. Dentist seems to have good and bad days as regards jai dee probably because they are pulling in the dollars by working 7 days a week, appointment slots hard to find (During High Season). Treatmen...

Guess are you just larking about as usual or did you really pay so much because the soil had gold dust in it?

Not sure if I have a ball park at the moment, 60K for 1/2 rai done and dusted, money upfront!

Well I was speaking to a guy today who lives in Mountain village/villa in HH and he tells me he has had no water for a few days and now his backup is running out. Apparently there is a water problem in some of the housing projects here.

Anyone with any more information on this?

I think you are a bit late if you want property/house and only want to spend 2 mill., (in Hua Hin). Prices are up by 5-10% now in January in comparison with the late 2005 prices. I guess you have to pay 2,5-3 mill for a house that cost 1,8 -2,5 mill last year and the inflation rate is appx 5-6% at ...

Always change money here, thai airport exchange rates are fine. Anywhere in the UK seems to give you sweet FA.
