What does Tops Supermarket bring more to HH ????????
If you're British, plenty, assuming it's more like TOPS in Bangkok, Korat, Khon Kaen et al.

It's no good for sausages though, unless you like the European style sausages, which I assume you would?

Re: Tops Supermarket in Hua Hin?

There's parking at the other end (back entrance) of Power Buy. Plus 'on the road' parking at the opposite side of 88. I'm sure that will add up to more than Villa has nearby. That's good, I wasn't aware there was car parking at the rear. I was thinking about street parking, but can see if that beco...

Re: The Beer Thread

That list is a load of rubbish. Limited Edition beers at staggering alcohol content and prices. What a load of pretentious nonsense - 'a beer that really tastes like apricot jam' - yuk! Hardly everyday beers, bar a few exceptions and clearly very US centric. But talking of beer, has anyone else trie...

Re: Tops Supermarket in Hua Hin?

When I was in Power Buy earlier, I asked about TOPS and the lady I was speaking to confirmed they are moving in. As others have said, the store has been divided into two along it's whole length with temp. barriers and curtains for now, presumably to allow the work needed to continue and to create th...

If you're not as lucky, and time runs out, you're always welcome to use my printer.
Thanks BB, I'll bear that in mind, but I have faith in Lazada! According to the tracking info, at 19.32 this evening it had been packaged and passed for delivery!

Re: Ink refill for.printer

Right, just to finalise my quest for the Canon ink I needed. First stop today was Power Buy on the corner of Soi88 and Petch and sad to say, the lady I chatted to, confirmed they didn't have what I wanted and said the old supermarket was a better option in any case! So off I went, wandered up to the...

Re: AirAsia to fly KL to Hua Hin from May 18

Actually, if you're referring to the KK in my post, it stands for Khon Kaen! And the reason it's so cheap is because you would be booking for months and months in advance and the price only goes up the nearer you get to the flight date. We were planning on going to go Bkk-KK next weekend (holiday w/...

Re: Ink refill for.printer

HH Tel - No problem, I was heading back from Makro and the small garden centre by Hefele, so on my way and keen to check out the Baguette in any case. BB - I do order from Lazada from time to time and from within Thailand, but I have never had such a quick delivery. A week at best. Robcar - thanks f...

Re: Ink refill for.printer

Well I went to the shop by The Baguette and it seemed to me they didn't have much of anything in there, just some HP ink, certainly not the Cannon ink I need, which they confirmed. So whilst there I also checked out the Baguette which left me underwhelmed (sorry but I think the bread rolls and bague...

Re: Ink refill for.printer

Thanks for all the advice. My printing needs are quite minimal really and this is the first time since buying the printer that I have had to change the ink. I haven't had any issues with anything drying up to be honest, so based on that, I'll just carry on as before. Thanks again.

Lazada???
Probably, but not enough time.

Thanks Terry - that will enable me to kill two birds in one, I have never been to the Baguette, so I'll head up there tomorrow!

Re: Auto save facility

It works fine so long as you don't do any formatting, adding of emoticons or adding pictures. I like using all of that  . Yes, but it's still not done automatically. On another forum I use, not Thai related, it auto saves photos, links and so on. When you press the reply button, having previo...
