Many cities worldwide have a common ruling, if a service runs past your property you have to pay the minimum service fee even if not connected. Been to Doc Saran today at Soi 51 clinic, he is now only open 1pm to 5pm on Tuesday and Thursday, he also consults at San Paulo on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Take a look at the insurance provider web site, which gives an indication of premiums. They have been in business for 33 years. Personally I can't see what benefit there is in using Bangkok Brokers instead of going direct.
