Re: TRIGGER FINGER and TENDONITIS

?? thought I just sent a reply here??

O.K. at the traffic light near Esso Gas station, not the Tessaban. If you are headed north turn at the light and it's the second building on the right.

Re: TRIGGER FINGER and TENDONITIS

Just asked the boss.......it is on the street with the traffic light....not the Tessaban one, the other one. If you're headed north turn left. Second building on the right hand side of the street.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner.

Re: How can Thailand curb its appalling road fatality rate?

1) Adopt a vehicle code which is a primary tool in establishing proper driving procedures and etiquette. 2) Publish said vehicle code, section by section, in newspapers and on television as a public service, and keep doing it for a very long time. 3) With thousands of policemen on the Country's payr...

Re: TRIGGER FINGER and TENDONITIS

"Can you tell me a little more about this " surgery". Is there an incision with sutures, or is the hook just inserted through the (anaesthetised I hope) skin? I was hoping to find a doctor who would treat me with an injection of steroid. I have had this injection before on another finger, and there ...

Re: TRIGGER FINGER and TENDONITIS

I've used Dr.Nut who has a clinic just off Petchkasem across from the downtown gas station. Sorry I don't have better directions but if you have access to a Thai partner or friend they could find him easily. Dr. Nut has done three "surgeries" for trigger finger on my hands. He does it quickly and pa...

Re: IPTV - SWITCH FROM TRUEVISIONS?

I'm surprised, Pete, at your expectations. You have already decided failure is the best you can expect from an industry that has given you Smart Phones, Laptop Computers, Tablet Computers, mobile telephones that can provide not only telephone service, but TV service, act as computers, and also serve...

IPTV switch from True Visions

I'm contemplating finally dumping Truevisions.....looks like they aren't going to carry the current week's PGA events from USA. Looking at LITEIPTV but don't know a lot about hooking it up to anything. I have a six month old Samsung Smart TV which looks like it will do the trick. I'm waiting for a L...

You won't find it in Thailand. In my search for Epsom salt I grew to understand it is just plain salt.......pls let me know if you find out otherwise.

Re: Hua Hin Hospital Vs Bangkok Hospital

I have had various experiences with nearly every hospital in the area. For those things I consider non-threatening I've gone to Petcharat Hospital, Hua Hin Hospital and Cha Am Hospital. I've used Bangkok Hospital and Bumrungrad Hospital in Bangkok as well. For two major back surgeries, one in 2012 an...

I had two black cars.....I will never have another. They are impossible to keep clean for even a day, and yes they get very hot.

Re: Why I Rarely Give Way to Pedestrians at Crossings

I think your experience is all the more reason to stop Big Boy..... One can never, ever take anything for granted driving here as we all know. I try to be extra cautious because I am so afraid one day the slightest bit of inattention is going to mean I'll hurt someone.....and it won't matter who's f...

Re: Dual-pricing in Thailand: Is it time to do away with the 'farang tax'?

A good post handdrummer; I think "otherism" is a lot more accurate than simple "racism" and should be identified a lot more often than it is. Back to the topic, though, let's be fair. I would guess most people visiting or living in Thailand do so partially because of the low costs. I live here becau...
