Re: Head colds

Have you tried taking a daily antihistamine? Just a basic 10mg cetirizine will probably do.

Re: Minivan, bus and road accidents

My point is though, worn in Thailand, is not the same as worn in the UK. Thailand is a lot more relaxed than a country such as the UK. Therefore, if you aren't asking for a specific check, unless the mechanic is looking to make a fast buck, how will the Thai mechanic even know what he is looking fo...

Re: Minivan, bus and road accidents

If the problem is there, but meets the Thai Ministry of Transport legal limits, unless you enquire about it, would a Thai mechanic tell you of the non-problem (in Thailand)? Why would he even look for it Yes, for me, in any case. The first inspection, even before the car was up on the ramp was by t...

Re: Credit Card for expats?

If your partner is Thai then UOB might offer a 'supplementary' credit card, based on your partners cc. It's how I have a Thai credit card. All I know is that this was a scheme that originated with Citibank (maybe others, I have no idea), and I had their cc for a few years, but they have pulled out o...

Re: Minivan, bus and road accidents

given that it appears that none of the gas tanks exploded, one wonders what was so flammable inside the bus that caused such a large and rapidly spreading fire. The merc driver the bus side swiped and another behind said after they stopped, they cut off their engines because of the strong smell of ...
