I didnt know the spuds got a 3rd. I tthink I had it as 0-2 in the prediction league. Doubly annoying. Anyway, enjoy it while it lasts. Normal service will be resumed next season.

NE Thailand ... seems to be well supplied with charging stations. Good site for charging stations without downloading an app: https://www.plugshare.com/[/quote]

Yes, I have seen some garages with one charging station, not working.

Bangkok Utd do it every season recently. Start like an express train, and then lose their bottle in the last few matches.
That sounds even more suspicious!

Re: Will the Premier League scrap VAR?

I think it will continue and be subjected to amendement just as the laws are. Not that many years ago, offside was offside. It didn't matter where the player actually offside was, or whether interfering with play or not. Easy for the linesman, follow the last defender, any opposition player beyond t...

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread

Well, considering I only bought a new car last year, nothing here will affect me for a while. But currently, an EV wouldn't suit me, primarily down to range and availability of recharging facilities (well NE of Bkk). So my interest is more about the next few years, although still interested in what'...

Erm, so the bottom team beat the 2nd placed team to hand Buriram the title. Okay.

Re: Premier League 2023-24

I'd love to know how that law would be worded: "It is okay to kick another player unless it is dangerous". Perhaps use the words of De Zerbi?: :D He grumbled about the referee, Michael Salisbury, and felt that Simon Adringra was denied a penalty after a tackle by Malo Gusto. “The referee...

Re: Major Economic Issues For Thailand

They're lying????? This is an interesting comment about projected GDP, and it will be interesting to see what figures are published (not full quote): 'The official Q1 GDP has not been announced by the NESDC. I expect the growth figure will be around 1.2%. Readers might raise an eyebrow as to why I ...

Re: Premier League 2023-24

Red card for Reece James, the suspension will carry over into next season. I've a good feeling you might get a full season from him in 25/26 caller  Well, he was a fool. But the rules are a joke and I have been consistent about that for ages. Its taking us back to the days of Beckhams sendin...

Jailed activist weakened by hunger strike dies

I know we're restricted to what can be said, but as stated in the attached media report:

'No-one should die because they think differently'.

A brave lady. RIP

Re: Football (not Premier League)

Are they that evenly matched. Evenly matched at being poor! My take on the two games is that Southampton and WBA both look in better shape than either Leeds or Norwich, who were woeful. But they all lost form in their last 6 league games. But as the next game for all 4 is effectivelly a winner take...

Re: Premier League 2023-24

Just realised that if the spuds lose their next two games and Chelsea win both of theirs, we will finish above them.

There's a far-fetched thought! :thumb:
