I can echo this impression, although not as vociferously. I prefer a quieter resort but the market will evolve and if the visitors dry-up, so will the get-ricj-quick operators....

Thanks guys. Never thought of phone cards - mental block, as I've used them in the States to phone home and they do save fortunes, just never thought of buying one to phone from the UK to Thailand.... Duh !
