Re: Flights to/from Thailand status, news, and updates

Yes, have also ditched Agoda (too much aggro and bs from them over the years).

Booked the flights through Trip.com and and saved 4,000 THB - will use that for hotels going forward. Thanks for the replies.

Re: Flights to/from Thailand status, news, and updates

Found identical return flights (different city), baggage allowance, etc, on Trip.com for 15% less than booking through AirAsia directly.

Has anyone used Trip.com to book flights?

Re: Major Economic Issues For Thailand

It is clear that without a properly functioning banking system, the BoT's monetary policy would become ineffective as there is no vehicle to channel the money supply. The BoT could print as much money as it wanted, but the money would get stuck at banks and would not reach Thai producers and consum...

Re: Banking apps - scan to pay time limits?

Never had that problem with the K-bank app. The ability to scan after midnight usually ends up with more spending than I usually would, however. :tsk:

Re: Will the hi-tech cashless future leave a dinosaur like me behind?

Re: The Torrents Thread

↑ just tried, and it only downloads in 128kbps, which doesn't sound great on a good speaker or earbuds. The one I mentioned will rip YT music vids to 320kbps MP3s. Most people probably won't notice, but I am a bit of a music/sound freak!

Re: TV series worth watching/downloading

Deals with the difficult subject of rape victims. Not for me I'm afraid. The final episode of The Grand Tour is now available at the usual places, the three have now parted ways as Clarkson is creaming it in from his farm show! Kaos has been very quirky but have persevered with it for lack of much ...

Looks like pretty much all of the YouTube MP3 rippers are dead. After trying most of them for a song I couldn't find anywhere on torrents or Soulseek, I finally found one that did the job: https://ytmp3converter.online/
