Re: Worcestershire sauce is nearly 200 years old.

Worcestershire sauce is nearly 200 years old. It's still used on 'everything except ice cream' https://www.abc.net.au/everyday/why-some-people-love-worcestershire-sauce/102812120 In the world of condiments, there's one sauce that's as mysterious as it is delicious, as ubiquitous as it is unpronounc...

Re: Champion's League 23/24

Man Utd could quite easily finish second, so I think they’ll get through to the knockout stage!! Although it will be difficult for Newcastle, they’ll be difficult to beat at home - could be interesting? Given how they have been playing and the attitude of the majority of players they would be hard ...

Re: Sausage

I'm not a sausage eater regularly and some of the frozen types sold at Macro are enough for me. I know one Yorkshireman who makes his own, I've never tried them but he is locally known as, I think, pork chop Steve, keen golfer so maybe other members know him better than me.

I'm guessing that if they are all that wealthy they won't need the services of public transport :thumb:

Re: Documentaries

I went on a bit of a Parkinson spree on Youtube yesterday, and watched one from the 70s that I'd never seen before. It was a one-on-one with Prof [ hang on a sec - oh yes ] Bronowski, an intellectual and academic, a scientist and biologist, basically your average all-round genius. Not someone I was...

The Hunt for Raoul Moat Follows the police operation in 2010 to apprehend fugitive Raoul Moat. He went to Northumbria after killing one person and wounding two others. I remember seeing this news story on the tellybox over here. One of the better true crime dramas from ITV. Ep,s 2 and 3 were compel...

Re: Superbru/HHF - Women's World Cup Prediction League

Not wanting to be controversial but I'm getting pretty pissed off at Sky and BBC News celebrating the Lionesses defeat. They were outclassed by the better team on the day and should have done better seeing that they were hot favourites. What is it in these times where it is ok to lose? RIP Olga's fa...
