Re: To open and run a school
Thanks for the replies I wasn't meaning that the teachers here were "washouts", it was meant to imply that they were'nt just people that couldn't get jobs anywhere else rather that they were good teachers disaffected with the standard of pupils where they come from. (behavior and aggressio...

To open and run a school
Just out of curiosity , would anyone know what the criteria is for opening a school in Thailand? For example insurances, paperwork from the local Tessabahn and actual qualifications needed by teaching staff. This would be for a school run on a British curriculum with the obligatory Thai lessons. Jus...

Re: Dual Battery isolator switch
Thanks all, Have tried most shops here and am just going to get one sent. It's for the batteries on the boat so I can use batt 1,,, batt 2 or both together (for charging), they only seem to have basic isolator switches or digital readout ones which will last about 5 mins if they get wet. Forgot to s...

Hi all, Just wondering if anyone knows where I could get a replacement Piezo electronic ingnition switch (double electrode) from locally in Hua Hin? It's the kind used on most gas mobile cookers/ Gas Barbeques, that do not need mains electricity supply. If anyone's seen them in a shop somewhere plea...

Re: IMHO Yamsaard school
Good day to all who are concerned with the running of the school. As mentioned by another person on this board the school does indeed seem to be run as a business rather than an educational institute. Before the end of the last term several parents complained about certain issues around the grounds ...
