Basically I think you have to separate the two, you could find on the net tons of people who had bad experiences with after-sales from Mercedes but it wouldn't stop you buying one if you had the dosh. I agree but you may choose to buy it from another dealership if one in particular kept cropping up...

2 sides to every story !! GDL were recommended to me by a friend who's lived in HH many years. I'm glad he did,i found GDL to be polite,courteous,friendly and above all my swimming pool looks and is fantastic,
