Re: 2024 F1 News and Prediction League

Oh I was enjoying things on Friday with Crashappen and Red BS struggling with the set-up and track conditions. Even in FP3 on the Saturday things were not going well, there was always that nagging bloody thought that they would find some escape - and that they did  Leclerc and the Scuderia had...

Re: The Boxing Thread

Well, it seems the Heavyweight Belts may not be unified or Usyk "Undisputed Champion" for long.... Unbelievable :banghead: "A rematch is in the works for October but it is unlikely to be for all four belts – the IBF plan to strip Usyk as he will not be facing its mandatory challenger ...

Re: The Boxing Thread

I’m sure the lure of another big payday will be too much to resist, I mean another $60-70m goes a long way in retirement (as challenger he probably won’t get quite as much as the $100m he got last night)!! Fury only held 1 of the 4 titles for this fight and yet commanded (or rather demanded) a 70:3...

Re: The Boxing Thread

Well that was one hell of a fight despite Fury's (obnoxious at times) showboating - he really doesn't do it well and to be honest it makes him look more of a clown. If he could only just keep it to boxing.... Personally I had Usyk well ahead on points - probably 3 - 3 after the first 6 Rounds...

Well, this could cause some issues at Bath... Hopefully, if anything it'll not hit until late afternoon/early evening though... "Thunderstorms could cause disruption including flooding in Wales, south west England and parts of the West Midlands from Saturday afternoon. A Met Office weath...

Re: The Rugby Thread

Looking forward to next weekend. No game this evening, 5 games tomorrow afternoon, all at the same time and only 1 of which I'm not interested in... :| Some cracking matches on indeed - unfortunately, whichever one you watch TNT Sports will constantly give away the results of others... Don't these ...

Re: The Boxing Thread

Usyk is stellar and a great champion, but I want to see Fury win because I support a British boxer, always. If he gets his Irish citizenship I'll naturally change my thoughts. And his thuggish retinue (family) aren't a good look, as bad as some of the Yanks, but even so. If he was Welsh I wonder if...

Yet another new model from BYD: BYD launches sleek new Tesla Model Y rivaling Sea Lion 07 electric SUV starting at $26K https://electrek.co/2024/05/13/byd-launches-tesla-model-y-rivaling-sea-lion-07-starting-26k/ I’d take the $$$ price with a pinch of salt. May apply in China, but they’ll probably ...

Re: 2024 F1 News and Prediction League

Well, Crashappen and Red BS's Rocket Ship will no doubt be firm favourites, but with McLaren's upgrades and it being the Scuderia's home race, things could well be closer than they have been for some time...

Could well be an interesting weekend! :thumb:

Re: The Boxing Thread

Well, no doubt the biggest fight for quite some time taking place this Saturday/Sunday (location dependant), for the "Undisputed Heavyweight Title" WBC,WBA,WBO & IBF Titles up for grabs! This for the first time since Lennox Lewis held the title(s) 25 odd years ago (personally, I think ...
