I quit in 1988 after 32 years. I'd just moved back to the UK from Hong Kong and found myself faced with a 100% price rise and the non-availability of US Camels, of which I'd been smoking a carton a week for the previous decade. I went the easy way - cold turkey. Trying to cut down is only torturing ...
