Re: Mr. I. Wooldridge

That's Ian Wooldridge and he lives down near Stuart Park on the road to Pranburi. He plays golf so probably someone from the golfing community will know him better.

Re: Imperial Lake View

In reply to the above responses, the review was negative but definitely not rubbish nor untrue. I am not commenting on the scenery nor the design but on the condition of the course. We played A and B and the fairways were like concrete. It would appear that the courses were grossly overbooked - ther...

Imperial Lake View

Played Lake View yesterday. No carts, no lockers and even struggled to find caddies. Pro Shop staff uninterested - take it or leave it attitude. The course was terrible. Would have been better playing on concrete. Very poor condition. Considering the amount of water around the place, why don't they ...

Re: Two bombs explode in front of Siam Paragon, Bangkok

My husband and his daughter were going to Siam Paragon when the bombs went off and he was amazed that people were rushing to the site to take photos! How stupid can you get. Luckily they were uninjured but very shook up, especially his daughter who has just spent two weeks I HH and loved every minut...

Palm Bistro have an excellent Sunday lunch as well as other "special meals" from time to time. They have a thread on this site which is well worth a visit.

Re: Majestic Creek Country Club & Resort

Played Majestic Creek today and what a disappointment. From previous messages, had hoped the course would be in good condition but it was not. Very disappointed with the whole place from unkempt bunkers, inconsistent greens and discarded rubbish around the course. Why don't they put bins at each tee...

New Wave of Muggings

These muggings frequently happened when I lived in Naples years ago. One way to beat it is to make it as difficult as you can for the thieve to grab your bag. Try to carry a handbag with a long strap and wrap the strap around your arm. Tuck your handbag under your armpit and try to put you bag on th...

Jet Airways

Flew to Kathmandu from London with them in November and couldn't fault them. Good check in service at LHR Terminal 3 - that's a wonder! Good food with a menu given out before the meal and even had real metal knives and forks and a linen serviette. Good drinks service with generous slugs of spirit. H...
