Re: The best hamburger in Hua Hin

Sorry PeteC cannot comment on that, we have not frequented that part of town for many a year, so yes, he may have ceased business. Was very nice when it lasted. For health reasons having a few bevvies and a burger after is now in the past really.

Re: Tax residency in Thailand and taxing overseas income

As Hahuahin states this is to target the Thai Elite, a similar thing happened in Spain some years ago, as I have Spanish residencia and property/mortgage etc I was in a bit of a panic back then, until I found out it was to target high earning Spanish expats with assets outside of Spain, I have as ye...

Re: UK banks closing accounts for expats

I also read the Telegraph article this morning. So its going to happen, however I had a conversation with a Barclays employee about a year ago with reference to sending my new debit card to Saudi, as they have also stopped doing this for me. I asked the question on the future of my account as I am n...

Re: Tax residency in Thailand

I 'm a non uk tax resident and I am looking to retire to Thailand in about 2 years. I have already done homework on this issue as I plan to not only take my armed forces pension but use a few other means as an income. My financial advisor has already said besides my non tax status and the liability,...

Re: Burmese border market

Question for bigston. When was the last time you were at the market? is it still worth a diversion there? And can you share the location of the Japanese place you go to. Plan to leave HH early on a Saturday and drop in on the market first before grabbing a bite, then heading to the hotel in BK for a...

Re: Football (not Premier League)
