Re: Government to help ease teachers' debt problem

This is a crazy situation for many reasons and to be frank the teachers are just useless and entitled. Firstly, why are they exempt from credit checks? That's nuts! Secondly, why do they think that they are somehow special and should get a prime position to trough? What part of 'If you borrow money ...

Most people that use Twitter a lot need to submit themselves for a psychological evaluation imo.

Re: Aspirin

Aspirin has lots of benefits and is becoming a no brainer for many things. However, I would say a baby aspirin (81mg) once every two days is a good idea as a preventative action having read up on it (not a doc though, just what I read), unless professionally told to use differently.

Re: What is your Passion in Life?

I'm passionate about travel, women, beer and idling around with little to do. However, having a job and a wife mostly gets in the way of those.

Re: 49 missing as boat overturns in seas off Thailand

This story seems to have been buried in the news sites sadly....whilst the saving of 13 negligent Thais who wandered into caves that should have been off limits at this time of year is way more important. Channel 3 stuff....40+ Chinese died due to Thai stupidity and it's not so important. They even ...

Re: Massive exodus from Bangkok - 7 deadly days of Songkran begin

This "7 Deadly Days" thing is a myth. According to the yearly road death figures, then actually it's safer to drive around during these major holiday times than it is to do so normally by about 5-10% due to the police actually being forced into doing their job more actively than usual due to politics.

All the tourist places is where you should all be at as you would find the rest of Thailand too challenging to deal with. Those that suggested the beach holiday resorts are spot-on for you guys. Have fun there and 07.

Pattaya is a magnet for the foreign and Thai trash...plus unsuspecting tourists from both sides too. Strong the douche can be in Pattaya. Not confined to there, but often is more concentrated in such places.

Re: Embassy frets over plight of UK inmates in Thailand

How about telling UK nationals that they shouldn't break laws in foreign countries and expect some sort of special treatment as they [foreign countries] are much more unforgiving than the luvvies that run the UK justice system? You are not special and if you do the crime then be prepared to do the t...

Re: The Bitcoin and cryptocurrency thread

Was wondering about this folks. They say that Bitcoin miners are solving difficult math problems etc. but was wondering what happens when they are solved? Do they help some company or are they (the answers) sold off to companies or governments or what? What are they actually solving and how does it ...

It's a shame. We foreigners must pay 10 times entry fee for a national parks and this rich and powerful Thai did't even pay an entry fee and was't check. Not only that...but was also basically OKed to hunt endangered species at will by someone who received payment and I bet that this wasn't the fir...

Despite your good intentions....lol. You'll all probably be deported for working without WP if it suits them. Yeah, help those that couldn't give a toss about their own beaches unless it means money for them. Sorry for my cynical comment...but have fun on your silly modern socio-media ego trip and p...

Re: NHS treatment back in the UK if resident in HH?

Considering the ridiculous people who they give welfare to in general in the UK, it's shocking that there are restrictions on any UK passport holders regarding this, as if you hold a real passport for the UK you should get it.

Lost it's way imo. It's the NHS....not the selective NHS
