The pic in the 'accident' report is one that pees me off. 3 lane highway made into a 4 lane highway giving zero chance of any emergency vehicles to pass. It's not as if they get to their destination any quicker. Just plain stupid.

I used to sit there when it was previously a restaurant. Have a couple of beers and watch the roundabout getting gridlocked then the chaos that ensued.

Regarding Pattaya, Songkran always lasts for 10 days and has for years. I believe they also call it the Pattaya Festival.I DID read that the water fighting (Sorry TaT..err, I mean 'splashing') started in Pattaya yesterday!
