There are a few threads on this problem on the TV forum. I'm not allowed to share links so DM if you don't know what I'm talking about.

After considering missing my appointment with immigration for the 30 day visa exempt renewal, I decided not to take the risk. I went around 1.30pm. Maybe 50-60 people in all. It was more convoluted, compared to Blueport, but all the staff were very pleasant and efficient.

Now they are allowing extensions - to tourists ONLY - who arrived AFTER March 1. Announcement just made. Richard Barrow has the vid on Twitter. Not sure how long the extension is. I think there will be some follow up news.

I'm going tomorrow to get a 30 day extension for my visa exempt. I'll report back.

A lot of posts I see don't make it clear what kind of visa they are on, or how many extensions they may have had.
