Also many Thais come to HH for holiday, and I'm sure many of them would love to have the park for the kids. Anaheim, California home of Disneyland is always busy with kids, teens, parents, etc. Disney was the anchor and following it was other parks, resorts, convention centers, top restaurants, hook...

My Thai fiance works for Disney here in California, and is from the Hua Hin/ Cha Am area. I mentioned this to her (tongue in cheek) she laughed, then asked "really??". She said she was going to ask at work today. I told her don't worry about it, but got that look that says "yeah, righ...

Does anyone have any experience when the Thai lady is in the west? My Thai fiance has lived here in the states 10 years, and works (2 jobs). She owns some land near Cha Am, and has about 400,000 bt in a Thai bank, and money over here. We are about 4-5 years away from moving fulltime, but if somethin...

I started with multi vitamins a few years back. I eat pretty healthy, not a heavy drinker, but I think it has helped. One can overdose on certain vitamins, but unless your diet is extreme, and contains very large doses of certain vitamins, then most multi's have enough leeway so no problems. My doct...

Thanks for the info! I am the one pushing wait (although it is her money entirely). The land is in her family village area, so precious, and sentimental, to her, but perhaps not others. As mentioned, it would be the Thai rental market, too far for commercial development but not far from small Thai s...

Land value in Tha Am

Hey All, My Thai fiance has not been back (other than our trip last year) for 10 years. She has some land outside Tha Am (outside Cha Am). She was offered, by a family member, 5 rai for around 400,000 bt. It is contiguous to her 5 rai, so would make a nice parcel. The land is currently used for rice...

He could not remember it but he had paid for the bottle on his last visit and they had kept it for him all that time! Now THAT'S what I call a great experience! :D It goes to show that there is good, and bad, everywhere. And there are always people who dwell on the bad and will never be sa...

Nice stories!! The first time I went to Thailand with my Thai fiance to meet her family, I expected a expensive trip. My fiance has been in the US for about 10 years, works 2 jobs, goes to school, and picks up the checks periodically. She also buys me clothes, and this last week a $200 pair of Bally...

I was married to a Korean woman for 20 years (I was a good boy), produced 2 wonderful (and beautiful(her genes, not mine) children). After we broke up I dated a couple western women, but was not really attracted to them (in general, many gorgeous western women). I've always had a attraction to Asian...

What about the electrical differences? All laptops I know of come with a small transformer box attatched directly to the cord. You're good from 100 to 240 volts and ??? up to 50hz I believe. Laptops are made to work everywhere, at least all the ones I've had. Pete  Was always wondering, now...

Re: Sleeping dictionary

I saw a movie on Star last night entitled above. Amazon rain forest, early 1900's, missionaries or similar ruling the natives. Not a bad movie but not a great one either, except for the scenery and some of the women. It seemed the normal course of action for the farang males to take up with a "...
