I don't quite understand how this can work. I have never used it. I have money in my bank. I go to the bank and ask for a letter of proof which costs me 100 Baht. When I show this letter to immigration they always want to see my bank book which has to show that the money has been there for three mon...

They are Mcgregor M59 5-SW + 3. 5 & 7 wood with a Taylor Made adjustable driver & a 2-ball putter. They have Regular Graphite shafts and are in good condition (about 4 years old). The name M59 comes from the fact that McGregor clubs have been used to win 59 Major's (Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus, José Ma...

In his heyday Jimmy was close to being the best snooker player in the world. He played in several world championship final matches but never managed to win. He was always very popular with the crowd and had a reputation for playing very fast. His nickname was the "Whirlwind". Well worth watching him.
I don't know if they do scooter teaching as well. My wife got her driving licence there. They have cars with dual controls. They first teach on the track and then move to the highways which is good as in Thailand you only have to be able to drive on a track to pass your test. The test does NOT inclu...
There is an official driving school on the palau-O road (about a kilometer past the gasoline station going towards the by-pass). It has it;s own circuit and organizes driving tests to obtain a licence. It's not really expensive, about 5,000 Baht for 10 lessons including driving test and licence.
Sorry if it seemed vitriolic that was certainly not my intention. I have tried Sunday Roasts at at least 10 different restaurants in Hua Hin. Some are very good, some are OK and some are not so good. I just had a very bad experience at Palm Bistro. As for the Loempia's of course there are country va...
Loempia's are nothing like spring rolls. They contain a completely different filling, are much bigger and need to be served with a good sambal. As for Palm bistro there I had the worst roast lunch I have ever had in my life! The meat was fine but the rest!!! When it was served I mentioned to the wai...
I have been living in Hua Hin for quite a few years now and have tried many restaurants and many types of food here. Of course Thai Food is freely available and can be extremely delicious but as a European I also love some European Foods. Any food, whatever the nationality, is only as good as the co...

I bought a bottle of 5 friends wine from the Macro today and have just tried it. Two sips were enough, the rest went down the sink. It is worse than Mon Clair and that is saying something! I still have a bad taste in my mouth!

The Dutch Courts would have told him not to be a naughty boy and left it at that. Thank God the Thai police got him!
