Re: Premier League 2023-24

I can understand the bitterness of Chelsea and Spurs supporters. City will be champions so don't be so bitter.

Re: Premier League 2023-24

More interesting to me which teams played was that a young Finn, Jimi Tauriainen made his debut for Chelsea. I've always watched with keen interest how the Finns do in PL, be it Jari Litmanen or Sami Hyypiä for Liverpool, Jussi Jääskeläinen, Antti Niemi, Aki Riihilahti or even Teemu Tainio for Totte...

Re: Old Photos of Hua Hin 1960s

I am just wondering if jimk still reads the forum. He was first time in Hua Hin in the early 60's. Late 1962, just after the Cuban missile crisis. I was bumming round the world at the time and had just spent a month or so in Petchaburi with a friendly and hospitable Thai family. I hitched a ride wit...

Re: Trip to Zhangjiajie, Hunan, China

Day 8 Return to Macau I had to change trains in Guangzhou but my first train was more than an hour late so I lost my connection. This was a Chinese holiday so most of the trains going to Zhuhai were full, I got a no seat ticket to 20.10 train. As it was around 17.00, I went to see if there would be ...

But I do agree with Henry 14th opinion, we will not be champions this season. City will prevail.

Re: Trip to Zhangjiajie, Hunan, China

Day 6 and 7 Zhangjiajie town The taxi came at 11.00 to pick me up as promised and it took about 40 minutes for the ride to Zhangjiajie city. I got into my room and noticed that the location was perfect. I could see from the window the place where the cable car and buses left for Tianmen mountain. I ...

Re: Trip to Zhangjiajie, Hunan, China

I have been to the one in Ha Long Bay and I still think the one in ZJJ is the best I've seen. The Ha Long one is rather short compared to this one and I can't recall any river or lake inside the Ha Long cave.

Re: Trip to Zhangjiajie, Hunan, China

Day 5 Huang Long cave The night before the weather forcast had predicted heavy rain for the whole day. I had thought that I’d stay in my room and have a day of rest. In the mornining around 11.00 there was no rain and I had noticed that near my hotel a bus would go to a cave area, called Huang Long ...
