Kung Oy's used to but not been there for a few years
I had the Ham Egg and Chips the other day at Buffalo Bills and very nice it was too. But I am sure they also do gammon steak - or at least they used to.

Re: Sarah Oxley gets life for commissioning murder in Hua Hi

We don't wish for any speculation on our public board there is information already in the public domain regarding the outcome of this long standing case from other sources of people that have been convicted. Any further discussion must be based on facts not connected to us but from other media. Sla...

Re: Sarah Oxley gets life for commissioning murder in Hua Hi

I, for one, am delighted that some justice has finally been seen to be done. I share the view of others who are sceptical as to what the real outcome will be. I only hope that our scepticism is unfounded and that these sentences will be served in full. If any other people were involved in this horri...

Re: Best steak in hua hin Right now

There are several places in Hua Hin that serve good steaks. Usually, but not always, you get what you pay for. Don't expect premium quality steaks and great service for a budget price. Of those mentioned so far in this 'interesting' discussion I have found both Prime and BB's well worth repeat visit...

Table cloth clamps

Hi, been searching high and low for replacement tablecloth clamps for our outdoor table. The old ones have finally given up and succumbed to the Thai weather ! Any advice on where to source these in Hua Hin ? We have tried most of the usual places with no luck. We can find them on Amazon.com but the...

Re: The Rugby Thread

I agree that Nigel Owens was awful. It comes to something when even the New Zealand commentators are criticising decisions that went NZ's way !! The result stands and maybe it wouldn't have been any different but there is no doubt that he certainly hampered England's cause and thereby helped the All...

Re: Retirement Visa

HHTel, everybody I know that is over 65 (including me) is still having to prove the 800,000 Baht figure when re-applying for the retirement visa.

Can you point us to the appropriate document that says this does not apply if you are over 65 and in receipt of a state pension please?

Thanks

Re: 90 day reporting on non o visa

I was told a couple of years ago that, when you returned to Thailand, you had to report to immigration within 24 hours.

I always do this (weekends excepted) and they give me a new 90 day paper in my passport.

They have never told me I don't need to do this.

Re: Recommendations for 3 best golf courses

JW, I fully agree with you about the 'C' course. Yes it is tough but isn't that a good reason to play it ?

Surely it's better to try than take the easy route and play 'B' twice !!

Black Mountain remodel EVERY low season. Check out what is going on before you play. Last year several holes were being remodelled and there were stacks of heavy machines grinding away all over the course.

Re: Russian man dies mysteriously at his Hua Hin home

Yet again, we hear about this death from a newspaper in another part of the country.

Perhaps someone can persuade the publishers of 'Hua Hin Today' to put some news in their 'news'paper. Even a week late would be better than nothing.

I like S and S too. I suppose that the good news is that there now seems to be a choice of good Indian Restaurants in Hua Hin to go with some of the not so good!

Great for all of us who enjoy indian food.
