Re: Over night trips from Hua Hin

We took our guests to the same place and also took scuba diving one day trip to Koh Talu. After 5 mins desending, we saw a wh...

Re: A bizarre trend for life-size dolls in Thailand is forcing airlines to adopt new rules
As Thai (again), I do believe in good karma and don't believe in such a thing like this spirit doll. When people really need to have a good life and wealth, they have to work hard and work smart. If they need real love, they have to learn how to give love first...That's it!!

Re: 83.5% workforce in Thailand is unskilled.
U.K. Kvarma, if more of your people had the same mindset as yourself, then this problem wouldn't exist. I congratulate you for thinking the way you do and sorry that you need to feel shameful for your fellow countrymen. Thanks a million for your compliment. Idealistically I hope the reform this tim...

Re: Dates when no alcohol sold in Hua Hin
The majority of 'non-alcohol days' are not Buddhist related but are for other reasons - political, historical personages, tradition etc. Thailand has no state religion (although the majority are Buddhist) and the constitution guarantees freedom of religion to all Thai citizens. Actually it was writ...

Re: Dates when no alcohol sold in Hua Hin
There are some small bars / pub that sneaky sell alcohols beverage at the non-alcohol day. Most of those non-alcohol days are related to bhuddism days. If the next question is why? Because being bhuddist should be strict in 5 forbidden precepts and drinking alcohol is one of them. The sneaky-sold dr...

Re: 83.5% workforce in Thailand is unskilled, lowest in ASEAN
As Thai people, this kind of article makes me embarrased on my country. It is not only the education system but also the workers attitude in developing themselves. Do you think the worker who work in construction sites and get pay 300-500 baht a day will consider about improve their skills or they d...

Re: How to get a Thai driving licence
I had friends refused with Spanish and French driving licences because the language used was not English, even though the appearance of the Euro licence is identical. They had 2 choices i.e. either obtain an International Driving Permit or get their licences translated and notorised. Thanks a lot. ...
