Sleeping Meds
Does anyone know of any good over the counter sleeping medication. I have had sleeping problems for a while but recently no matter how tired I am I still cannot get a decent sleep. I know I could get pills at the Hospitals after seeing a Doctor, but I hate paying the OTT prescription rates and other...

Re: New Hua Hin Immigration office at Bluport
I am due to do my annual retirement visa next month and was wondering if the office near the Kings Palace is still open. I know this visa cannot be done at Blueport and haven't heard anything about the new Immigration Office finally opening. I hope the new office never gets completed as it is stuck ...

Demolition of Plaza/Karaoke Area Beside Hilton
I know this is a bit off topic but has anyone heard about the area from Hilton to Centara being demolished? I believe this land is owned by the Railways and I've heard many times over the years that it is going to be developed. It's just that it came up in a bar discussion at the weekend and it was ...

Re: New Hua Hin Immigration and passport office
I asked about Blueport when I did my 90 days a couple of weeks ago and was told it was only for tourist extensions and 90 days. Annual visas, retirement/O/B/ etc were going to be handled at the new "Jungle Outpost". But I think we will not know for sure until they move.

Re: New Hua Hin Immigration and passport office
I was at Immigration last week and asked about the new office. The answer I was given was that Blueport was for 90 day and tourist reporting but 1 year/retirement etc would be handled in the new building. I don't have my own transport and am not looking forward to the trek out there.

Re: 'How To' - Requirements for visa extensions etc
I have an OA Visa and am leaving for a visit to the UK on the 10 of April. My 90 day runs out on the 9th and I was wondering if I should go to Immigration in HH before or just to the airport on the 10th with one day overstay. From where I stay it is difficult to get to Immigration and I don't want t...

Re: Tough action against Hua Hin beach encroachers
I was talking to a guy yesterday who has been here over 20 years, and he mentioned that in 1998 demolition was discussed. The outcome was that the restaurants paid the Police B1,000 per day, at that time bars were only paying B500 per month, and it was all forgotten about. If rent is paid on these p...

Zafran Indian Restaurant.
Any of you guys heard about the Zafran Indian Restaurant moving at the end of this month, and if so, where? I really like to eat there when I am having a night out in town.

Mosquito screens and doors.
Anyone know where I can go to buy, and get installed, mosquito screens and doors in H.H. I would like metal framed mozzie doors that fit on the outside allowing my actual door to be left open for the breeze.
Thanks,
George.

English and Scottish Cup Finals.
Any bars or restaurants showing both Cup Finals this Saturday. Somewhere without music, where we can listen to the commentary, and with cold beer. Any part of town would do.
Thanks,
George.

Re: Immigration to introduce 90 day reporting online
Just tried to do my 90 days online in IE. Completed the first page with my details and can't get any further. Keeps coming up with "Certificate Error". Looks like I'll have to go myself.

Re: Foreigners arrested for alleged drug offences in Hua Hin
I just heard today that all three were now out. Does anyone know if this is the case? If so did it ever go to court or was it settled with a "Financial Transaction"?
