Re: Another cowardly farang bashing in Hua Hin
Update: I saw the falang today in Soi 80 with 8 stitches. Apparently spoke with owners of the bar and was told if he went to the police, he could never live in Hua Hin again without being hurt. He has lived here for 8 years. No investigation by police and falang fearing for his life now moved to Kh...

Re: Another cowardly farang bashing in Hua Hin
No offence taken but surely police should investigate a bashing. But Tit and love it or leave it. But I've come to Hua Hin for three months each year cause it was different from the other tourist spots

Re: Another cowardley falang bashing in Hua Hin
But the police need to investigate a beating in front of hundreds of tourists. It made me sick to the stomach. And they have CCTV footage there

Another cowardly farang bashing in Hua Hin
I was standing out the front of Polo Bar in Binta last night when a falang and thai girlfriend came out arguing (but no violence between them) and then a Thai male king hit the falang in the back of the head. Once on the ground Thai male proceeded to kick falang in the head while security watched. T...

Proper rains didn't come until July last year. We shouldn't hold our breathe.

Re: Farang deaths in Hua Hin
Many suspicious deaths in Thailand and they always seem to be men. 60 year old man drowns in chest high swimming pool? Body goes to Bangkok to solve every falang mystery death.

Re: Minister 'Confused' by Safety Downgrade for Thai Airlines
Thai Airways have always been brilliant in every way. Not sure about the never ending notion of safety that comes out of the West. In Australia people on any worksite need to wear hideous fluorescent to be seen. Its over the top and thankfully Thailand isn't like that!

Re: Clean Hua Hin's Beaches Movement
Oil problem has not gone as mentioned in above posts and will probably remain for a few more months. Problem is that that the government or council refuse to throw money at it to clean the beach and keep Thai businesses profitable. Who are we to debate the Thai way of doing things. They will live an...

Re: Clean Hua Hin's Beaches Movement
As Big Boy said debris keeps coming in and has been for the last few months. Top that with general Thai debris of plastic, bottles, oil, etc, the beach is in a perpetual state of mess. Besides Pattaya, probably the worst tourist beach in Thailand. But if the Thais don't care why should we farang?

6pm National Anthem missing for two days now?
I've noticed that the giant speakers are no longer playing the national anthem. Its always on like clockwork. Anyone know why and whether its gone for good or just temporary? Perhaps someone forgetting to press the button.
