RIP Richard.

You certainly lived life to the full.

You underestimated him at your peril!

Re: R.I.P. Hogus (Holger Gussmann)

This is indeed very very sad news. I had quite a few nights on shooters with him and must say I never had the same liking for Jaegermaster as he had. I used to ask him how he could like cough mixture so much. I remember one epic night. We each started with a pint of Kilkenny in Crawfords then follow...

Re: Sandwash Concrete Cleaning etc

We have Sandwash on our outside drive and balconies. It has never been sealed and has become very dirty. Any idea how much per square metre I should be paying to have it cleaned and sealed?

Many thanks

Ken

PS Anybody also know what is the going rate for painting per sq metre?

Re: Adopting a dog

We have 3 dogs who adopted us, i.e. we fed them so they stayed. We realised that two is more than enough and gave one to my wife's sister who has many dogs and lives about 10 kilometres away. Unfortunately, he doesn't like it there, or likes our chicken better, so he keeps coming back. When the thre...

Re: Police knock bars back to midnight-closing

That seems a sensible idea to get the few tourists that are here to return again next year. NOT.

I will just go out two hours earlier tonight.

Just to add:-

Thonchai is currently 65th in the world and there are probably 5/6 Thais in top 250.

Re: Thongchai Jaidee

Agree with JW. Thongchai is a fantastic golfer and despite so many outstanding players on the circuit, he has had some excellent results. Let's face it, to be even in the top 250 in the world requires you to be able to play unbelievable golf that us mortals can only dream about. Even our JW, good as...

Re: Crawford's , CHA-AM

Met up with John and family on Thursday afternoon and we all had great seafood buffet on Cha Am beach. I am very happy to report that John is much improved and I think he actually looks better now than before he went into hospital. He has got his colour back and is in excellent spirits (but not drin...

Re: Hua Hin Golf Gossip

Tried to play new army course yesterday but was booked so just went to Thanarat in Pranburi instead. 820 Baht including caddy (200 less for Thais :D but I couldn't convince them I wasn't farang). Rain has helped improve the course a good bit and although not still that great, fairly good value for m...
