Re: Booster Vaccines - Covid 19
Yes, and most of my relatives have had it. Telling the vulnerable here to get a booster, but not saying where, is as useful as a chocolate fireguard. I'm quite happy to pay, but nobody seems to have stocks.

Re: Booster Vaccines - Covid 19
Thai high-risk groups ‘still need Covid boosters’ https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/2882201/thai-high-risk-groups-still-need-covid-boosters Unfortunately the article doesn't say where to get them. I'm always concerned because my wife is very high risk. I failed to get any response from '...

Yes, that was from Lazada - a bit more if you purchase locally.

Re: Motorola cell phone cannot receive Calls
If it is like our AIS plans, having credit is not good enough. Top ups have expiry dates, and after that date you can't use it for calls. Check to see if the date has expired. If it has, it won't be long before the number is allocated to another user.

Re: Buying a new smart TV
I think it is 43" - didn't need a big one as it's to use on the porch. It really is the best TV we have though. When True were faffing about with football a few weeks back, I was considering buying the 65" version. If my Android Box plan failed, that was still my Plan B.

Re: Buying a new smart TV
can barely notice the difference between HD and 4K. Defo not worth the extra and hassles of 70 gig movies for me! I'd agree with that - the extra baggage must be quite costly and timely. I currently have >50 movies downloaded, and waiting to watch. If I could download such massive files, you're tal...

Re: Dates when no alcohol sold in Hua Hin
It is listed on the calendars that the banks give out every year, and for as long as I can remember has always been a dry day. I know because most years my son goes dry for Buddhist Lent (not religious, just an easy period to detox every year), although he did fail to last the full period this year ...

Re: The SUV Thread
When I bought my Ranger, they were as rare as rocking horse droppings in Thailand. Definitely no test drive at the time, and it was all that I could do to get them to let me sit inside a customer's vehicle to see if I fitted. Friends had similar problems when a new Toyota model was introduced (don't...

17th is Thursday. Your question confuses me - are you saying the 13th is happening as well?
I thought it was agreed bars close at midnight anyway.

Yes, I think it was Spurrell - a mean looking git. Wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of him. In fact they were all mean looking gits (I can say that 8,000 miles away ).
Seriously though, they were quite nice guys to talk to, We used to go there most Thursday nights.

Re: The Rugby Thread
Yes, but whilst a football stadium, you aren't exposed to the elements or crazy flooding. I spent many years working in Bath, drove past the stadium many times, and even drank with the players quite a few times in the Bog Island Club, but never ventured into the stadium for a game. I thought my son ...
