Re: Thailand Hua Hin Seniors football World Cup

Anyone know the squad details? Watched this afternoons game until the downpour but struggled to pick out many players, could recognise Barry Hales and Peter Beagrie for England and one of my footballing heroes Gary Holt was the Scotland captain. Would be good to know who the others were though

Re: What's Happened To The Water in Hua Hin?

The Mayor announced earlier they were installing a new pipe opposite market village. The work was completed at 1am this morning and the water supply would be returning to "normal". He did caution it would take some time for all areas to get water as some areas had been without for a few da...

Nick, BritJim, you going to tackle the marathon?

Cheers,

Yeh I probably will although might be pretty warm at that time of year! I'm sure Jim and his brother Chris will do it as well.
Look forward to seeing more info as it becomes available

Re: New bike path on Highway 4

I cycle it 2-3 times a week usually in a group and yes it has multiple signs on the southern side saying bicycles only no motorcycles (in Thai and English) but not much notice is taken. The Thai guys that ride with us shout abuse at motorised vehicle users and we have written to the Mayor but nothin...

Re: IPTV switch from True Visions

Do you have any more information? I've put UKIPTV into a search engine, and am being offered something for nothing, yet you say it's not cheap. Also, what Internet Provider are you with, and what is the advertised speed that you should be getting? Sorry it's been a while since I've had it so couldn...

Re: New Hua Hin Immigration and passport office

It's always been stated as Feb 2017 but driving past last week looked a way off yet to me. Still resembled a building site but were starting to do the signs etc. My guess would be a month or so yet but that's just a guess based on my uneducated view of how much work was left

Re: IPTV switch from True Visions

Am I the only one using UKIPTV? Has every channel I can think of including all sports channels and movies etc etc. The best thing for me is it has catch up so I never have to miss the mighty yellows when Sky or BT put the kick off to stupid o clock. It's not cheap but for the channels you get I thin...

Re: New Hua Hin Immigration and passport office

Did my 90 day report today with a very stressed immigration officer, he had a headache and was complaining how busy he was. I explained if I didn't have to come all the way here for a 90 day report ( I don't have internet explorer ) it would be 1 less person to service. With great delight he explain...

Re: 24 hour immigration report back requirement?

He didn't make a big deal of it just said in future she (not me) needed to report anyone staying at her house (non Thai) within 24 hours of their arrival. And what happens if you own a Condo? You are then the landlord. Are you supposed to report yourself? It is a whole lot of bovine ordure, and bes...
