Lived on Samui for 5 years. The stuff that the mafia get up to is alarming. Saw several shootings during my 5 year stay. Like anywhere you can find trouble if you look for it. Piss any of the locals off enough and you will know about it. The island is generally safe if you are sensible.

Anyone know of a decent pool cleaning company around this area. Was using Pool Mart but they were not that great to be honest.

My house near Pranburi (Khao Tao) is having issues with water supply at this time of year. The moobaan management say it is normal at Christmas with the extra demand. The tanks under the house are not filling up. Is this normal? Anyone else having issues?
