Welcome Shirleyv. I'm on this forum because I will be retiring to HH area in a couple of years. The more info I can gather from members now, the easier the transition will be!

I am still a couple of years away from living in HH/Pranburi. However, thanks to forum, I am sure there are a few people I will want to meet up with by then!

I've got to agree Takiap. I can buy a mansion for $1,000,000 in HH that would cost $5 mill anywhere else.I need bedroom for self and wife + 2 for visitors. Personally I would rather pay 2500 bht and go door to door, stop for a beer and bite on way. Trying to do it on the cheap justs ends in stress. If you can't afford that amount, you won't enjoy your time in TH!
