Re: GBP vs THB

BBC reports 52 week low at 42.55000 currently reporting 43.59000

Not much to feel happy about a baht up since Brexit and movement down again. A few satangs either way these last 4 months:-(

Re: GBP vs THB

Well, as long as one's income from the UK is appreciating then I suppose the crash in the GBP can be offset a bit. Other than that - forget it. I don't care when the Baht was 90 odd to the GBP. I remember it at about 40. I'm sure some people can boast when it was 30 odd. The reality is that the GBP...

It isn't nice, and I wouldn't be happy, but I'd accept that without too muc...

Re: Retirement extension 800k - Where?

Quick reply

1. Don't think that it matters that your bank is in bkk, however when you need your letter to confirm you have the money you may need to travel to your Bangkok bank to get this.

2. unsure. But I don't think you can convert a tourist visa into a non imm visa here.

Re: Renewing a UK passport from Thailand

On another note the photograph signatures did you just get a friend or did you have to search out a rocket scientist? Just a British friend Jimmy in HH So the issue is Jimmy, do you have any...
