Oh, I do wish there was a 'like' button!
Be careful what you wish for - could get you arrested or at least a "request" to adjust your attitude...

Who was recently in VN ? My question is not answered on Google.
Is it easy to change TH Bhat, or better take only USD and Euro ?
It's easy to change most common currencies, but make sure you do it in a bank. The rate is much better and you know you'll get valid notes.

Re: What are the TV service options in Hua Hin.

I'v been using TVMucho for about 8 months now and, apart from a small glitch early on (which they resolved within a day), the service has been excellent.

Re: Vietnam Visa

A friend of mine went a couple of weeks ago and, yes, the UK is one of a list of countries that do not need a visa to enter Vietnam. As Buksida said, you can stay up to 2 weeks. One thing to note is that you cannot do this more than 1 time within a month.

Re: Driving in Laos,Cambodia and Burma

My understanding is that a licence issued in an Asean country can be used to drive in another Asean country for 1 month. At least that's what I was told in Cambodia (by the Government Driving Licence Authority) when presenting my Thai licence. I'd also be interested to find out the cost of a car and...

Re: Blue house book in your name

You were lucky. Bought my bikes from Honda and needed immigration letter. When I transferred a car from the original farang owner to my name, we both needed a letter from immigration. When you fill in the application for the letter at immigration, one of the options to select is 'purchasing of a mo...

I view are talking, and they are saying the right things. I hope their system works out as good as they talk. I've been using iviewHD+ for the last 3 months or so. All UK and sports channels and even Irish channels :D plus many other countries. At that time, there were 2 packages: iviewHD - the che...

Re: Hua Hin farang food prices

Read first before writing nonsense: This chef told me how to prepare the easy way for a person like me who doesn't like to cook and don't loose time in kitchen. Of course he knows the right way. Well, in that case I can only bow to superior knowledge and apologise humbly for my evidently inappropri...

Re: Hua Hin farang food prices

If you know how to prepare a Thai beef from the market, can be tender. About pepper sauce, even for me who doesn't cook, it's not complicate. No need to buy the plastic sauce from Makro. A friend of mine a real farang cook (a chef) told me how to prepare the easy way. Brown sauce Knorr from Shoppin...
