Any language school recommendations?

Post by Viseman »

After several trips to Thailand, I thought I would buckle down and really try and learn the language. Does anyone know of any good Thai language schools? Any replies would be much appreciated.
It seems like when I just sit down and talk with the local folk I just end up drinking myself stupid. Heaven forbid it happens again!

Learning Thai

They used to teach Thai at WECI, just south of Hua Hin but if you want serious professional instruction its best to go to Bangkok.

Personally I found the self study with a few good books option very effective. Don't be afraid to practise what you learn!

Thanks! I was trying to find a way to keep out of BKK. That place just grates on me after a while, but maybe I haven't wandered around there enough to really know the place. I will definitely check out WECI.
