After a few games of pool around Bintabahn area, played table ice-hockey and lost five bottles of vodka :roll: :oops: And the next day I had to travel to Bangkok to meet a group of tourists at the airport.

If I were you, I'd definitely stick to the bars. There's a good atmosphere and the big hotels are way overpriced and dreary.
Just get out and enjoy yourself :cheers:

There was a singha beer festival last year with food stalls all around. Just south of HH centre on the landward side. Hope it's on again, great craic. :cheers:
