Hey Bill,

You might want to try here?
Why is it called 'after dark' when it really is 'after light'?

Bill, is it OK with you if I put your above post on our website & a couple of others to try & advertise the night a bit? Thanks. :)

Just to add to this, I've had a very generous offer from Siam Old Teak. Mark & Ya have very kindly donated either a bed or a Burmese Wedding Chest (choice to be made by successful bidder) for auction at the quiz night - proceeds going to HeadRock Dogs (previously HHDRC). The furniture is truly gorgeous - just look at these pics:

Thanks to everyone that has so generously donated prizes or items for auction and a HUGE thank you to Bill & Lorraine for organising the event. So, come along, it promises to be great fun. :D

Hello, (buffalo) Bill here.

Just to let you all know, the first quiz night at the Buffalo Tavern in aid of charity (this time Head Rock dogs) in my opinion went down very well.
I would say good fun was had by everyone. All contestants were full with good food and drink and the main point, a fair amount of money was raised by a small amount of locals.

I would like to thank all the following; my wife Lorraine for her idea time and effort in organizing this first charity event, for Mr. Steve who gave up his time and place in the team of teachers from Somtawin school to be the quiz master, Siam Old Teak for there kind donation of a beautiful king size Teak Sleigh bed which was auctioned, for the raffle prizes donated by Putahracsa Hua Hin, Halex Beer and Beverage, Wine connection Hua Hin branch and last but by no means least a big thanks goes out to all the contestants and also for me for being there.

I will inevitably keep you all informed of the next PUB QUIZ evening at the Buffalo Tavern.
Thank you.

Watch this space.

I'll second everything Bill and Dawn said - we had a fantastic time, the buffet was awesome, Steve the Quizmaster had a really big voice so e'body could hear, and some of Lorraine's questions were real doozies. Thanks, Bill and Lorraine for so generously giving up a night of fine dining to help raise money for all of those dogs - we're looking forward to another evening of mental aerobics!
