City or beach is totally a matter of preference & sometimes price.

Yep, I'm with you on that, first time to HH before we had the sprog, we stayed in the Thipurai, nice & central.Ignoring price, then with kids of that age you should definitely do beach
Last time, with his nibs, we stayed at the Marriott just outside of the town. Great for him to play in the pool/beach, with other children about. Then it was only a short walk (10 minutes) into town to go to restaurants/bars etc..
COYS!

In a town as compact as Hua Hin, my view is that city or beach makes very little difference. You're never more than a 10 minute walk from anywhere. If the kids are too tired to walk, let them enjoy a 60 Baht Tuk Tuk ride.pankaj wrote:I am planning trip to HH in Jun08 with wife and 3 kids aged 4/8/11 Which is a better location -in the city or on beach?
